PROFILE:

Profile Professional Degree in Chemistry show a thorough knowledge of general chemistry: Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry and Biological Chemistry, as well as good training in mathematics, physics and biology, so that together enable the understanding of knowledge of Analytical Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Biotechnology, Chemistry and Toxicology Legal and Environmental Chemistry, which may develop methodologies in order to produce, develop, analyze, synthesize and biosintetizar substances, organize, manage and execute tasks of chemical laboratories and industrial plants connected conducting research in different areas of chemistry, design the organization and / or business management, including the ability to conduct feasibility studies and ability to operate in interdisciplinary teams.

Incumbent:

It expressed a degree in Chemistry is responsible for:
Conduct studies and investigations relating to the constituent substances of matter (living and inanimate), their combinations and systems, their structure and properties, its variations and the laws and processes that govern their interactions, transformations and behavior .-
Sampling, analysis, and qualitative and quantitative testing of material systems by any appropriate method to determine their composition, structure and properties and interpretation of results.
Perform synthesis and / or biosynthesis, production and processing of organic and inorganic substances with biological activity, and their derivatives from material of natural origin, synthetic or artificial, based on knowledge of materials of natural origin, of synthetic or artificial unit processes and transport phenomena of matter, amount of movement and energy.
Apply the principles in those physical and chemical processes in which it is a matter for state change of energy content or composition, participating in the transfer of knowledge from the laboratory to manufacturing processes, through successive stages test.

Determine the requirements and conditions of installation and operation of instrumentation laboratories and plants where they are analyzing, testing, synthesis, biosynthesis, production or processing of organic and inorganic substances, with or without biological activity, and their derivatives, and exercise control of sanitary conditions and safety.
